The Recaro Speed conviently accepts racing harnesses and tips the scales at just 30.9. lbs compared to 50+ lbs. for the stock seats in the BMW 1 Series. The Recaro Speed seat has some shared history with BMW, the seat was standard equipment on some special editions of the E30 M3 and E34 M5.
